Booking policies

Please read these before booking. All sales are final.

Scheduling and weather

  • We book clients based on open availability.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule based on staff availability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Moving in rain or snow is at the client’s own risk. We are not responsible for damage caused by weather, and we do not insure moves done in known weather conditions.
  • If weather causes delays or requires breaks, the hourly rate still applies (the clock keeps running). Any and all delays are at the client’s expense.

Equipment and supplies

  • Our moving services include a box truck and a basic tool kit: screwdriver, power drill, and a 40-piece socket set.
  • Specialty tools for items in your home are the client’s responsibility to have on hand.
  • A mattress bag is suggested for mattresses and box springs, and must be provided by the client.
  • All packing material is sold separately.

Insurance and claims

  • Insurance is sold separately for $100 and covers up to $1,500, based on $0.60 per pound.
  • Insurance must be added before the move starts to qualify.
  • Insurance does not cover TVs. All TVs must be in a TV box with foam to be loaded onto the truck.
  • IKEA furniture that has been used is not covered. As stated on the original IKEA box, it isn’t meant to be moved after its first assembly.
  • Damage claims must be made in writing within 7 days of your move completion date.

Deposits, payment, and fees

  • All clients must pay a deposit to book. All deposits are nonrefundable.
  • Final payment is due before your move is complete.
  • We accept cash, credit, debit, and payment apps only. Checks are not accepted.
  • A 0.825% processing fee applies to all credit and debit card transactions.
  • All clients are subject to a trip fee based on location. Moves more than 30 minutes from 77040 are also charged drive time back.

Overnight and storage

  • The overnight fee is $150 per day.
  • Storage payment is due on the 1st of each month. The late fee is $75.
  • After 30 days in default, we reserve the right to auction off belongings.

On moving day

  • All clients must check the inside of the moving truck before the movers leave.
  • All sales are final.
