Who we are
Stack Haus Movers was started by Joseph Berger in Houston. We move families and businesses across the Greater Houston area, and we take on state-to-state moves anywhere in the country.
We keep things simple. Clear hourly pricing, a straight answer on what’s covered, and a crew that shows up ready to work, whether it’s a one-bedroom in the Heights or a family home in Cypress.

A nonrefundable deposit reserves your crew. Add move coverage now if you want it.

We load, drive, and unload. Before we leave, you check the truck to make sure nothing’s left behind.

How do I book a move?
Request a free quote online or call us. A nonrefundable deposit reserves your date. We book based on open availability.
Is my move insured?
Coverage is available for $100 and covers up to $1,500, based on $0.60 per pound. It has to be added before the move starts. TVs aren’t covered, and neither is IKEA furniture that has already been assembled (IKEA says it isn’t meant to be moved once built).
What happens if it rains?
Moving in rain or snow is at your own risk, and we don’t insure moves done in known weather conditions. If weather causes delays or breaks, the hourly rate still applies. We may reschedule for weather, staff availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.
How do I pay?
Cash, credit, debit, or payment apps. We don’t accept checks. Final payment is due before your move is complete, and card payments carry a 0.825% processing fee.
Is there a travel fee?
Every move has a trip fee based on your location. If you’re moving more than 30 minutes away from 77040, drive time back is also charged.
Can you hold my things overnight?
Yes. Overnight is $150 per day. For longer storage, payment is due on the 1st of each month.
